Guidelines for submissions to clotheslinejournal.com

Clotheslinejournal.com is an online academic costume journal with the mission of making research and knowledge accessible to the public through the internet free of charge. It will also provide an outlet for better visibility of the work of costume historians and enthusiasts.

Articles chosen for the site may pertain to any topic relating to costume, textiles and society with a minimum of 2,000 words.

Articles must be an unpublished, fully referenced original work of the author. References must be in the form of endnotes.

Articles must be submitted electronically in either Microsoft Word, HTML or text only format.

Accompanying images are appreciated in digital (jpeg) format and must have copyright permission for use on the site in writing if needed. Consult the editor if you have questions.

Submissions are welcome at any time.
